Khalifa bin Zayed, Sultan Qaboos hold talks
AL AIN - President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed of Oman held a round of talks today at Al Reef Palace in Al Ain, in presence of Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Sheikh Khalifa welcomed Sultan Qaboos who is heading a high ranking delegation on a visit to the UAE which comes within the framework of continuing contacts between the two countries’ leadership to deepen cooperation in all fields.
The two leaders reviewed during their meeting the historic fraternal relations and ways to enhance them for the interest of the peoples of the UAE and Oman.
The talks also touched on issues of concern to the two countries and to the GCC and Arab countries. The two leaders also exchanged views on the current developments both regionally and internationally.
Sheikh Khalifa said he was looking forward to further fruitful cooperation in a way that will achieve joint aspirations and strengthen partnership in different domains.
Sultan Qaboos expressed pleasure at visiting the country as part of the continuing coordination between the two countries which reflects the strong bonds and brotherly ties between the peoples of two countries.
Sheikh Khalifa hosted a luncheon in honour of Sultan Qaboos and his accompanying delegation.
