A woman from Kerala will lead the Indian Air Force contingent in the Republic Day parade this year at Rajpath.
A native of Palakkad in Kerala, Flight Lieutenant Drisya Nath will be among the four officers who lead the contingent.
Squadron Leader Attal Singh will be the leader of the 144 member contingent. He will be accompanied by supernumerary officers Flag Officer Tripti Chaturvedi, Flt Lt S S Mythraye and Flt Lt Drisya Nath.  
According to Mathrubhumi, Drisya is the daughter of Kanjikode-native T Raveendranath and Komalavalli. Drisya, an engineering graduate, left her job at IBM to join the Air Force.
