DUBAI — The Juvenile Welfare Association held its annual concluding ceremony titled 'A Dream has Come True', to honour companies, organisations and individuals participating in the associations activities at Fairmont Hotel, Dubai.

The ceremony was attended by Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police and Chairman of the Juvenile Welfare Association, Sultan Sakr Al Suweidi, Secretary General of the General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare, Mohammed Murad, Secretary-General of the association, other members of the association and police officials.

"Serving the society helps in raising the level of safety and stabilily in the UAE. Your participation and contunuous support for the association will help us accomplish its goals," said Lt. Gen. Dhahi.

Lt. Gen. Dhahi added that the the late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan has given his full support and attention to the youth, "the UAE youth considers Shaikh Zayed as an idol for the support he has given to them. Shaikh Zayed will always be a symbol for the young generation in the UAE, and they will walk down his path to give a better future for their country," said Lt. Gen. Dhahi.

Lt. Gen. Dhahi then congratulated the participants for their moral and financial support for the 'A Busy Summer' programme. "According to several studies spare time should be used in a positive manner".
