Junejo urges Pakistani journalists to project soft image of country
DUBAI - Pakistani journalists in the UAE have been urged to continue to project a positive and soft image of their country among the masses and to counter the negative propaganda against the country.
The appeal was made by outgoing Pakistani Ambassador Khurshed Ahmed Junejo while addressing a farewell luncheon by the Pakistan Journalists Forum at Avari Dubai. He also filled the form for the honorary membership of the forum.
Junejo said that creation of a platform for Pakistani journalists was one of his objectives while assuming his responsibilities as ambassador to the UAE in 2008. He said that it was the media that highlighted and projected Pakistan’s achievements and its extremely close relations with the UAE.
