Jumbo pledges Dh10 million to Dubai Cares

The new community initiative, Jumbo Cares, is specifically aimed at supporting the major fundraising campaign Dubai Cares launched by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

During the six-week Jumbo Cares programme, a percentage of sales will be donated to Dubai Cares. Jumbo Electronics has pledged a sum of Dh10 million towards this noble cause.

Announcing Jumbo’s contribution to Dubai Cares, Vidya Chhabria, Chairperson of Jumbo Electronics, said: “Jumbo has always supported activities that are hugely beneficial to the community and children.

Dubai Cares is a wonderful project that gives hope to millions of children, who do not have access to basic education.

“Our own Jumbo Cares programme will contribute immensely to the Dubai Cares campaign to help put a smile on the faces of less fortunate children.”
