Al Montazah Amusement and Water Park, Sharjah’s newest family entertainment hotspot, is all set for a feast of fun and entertainment to celebrate Eid Al Fitr. The new leisure destination will be hosting its first ever Eid Family Fun and International Show featuring two exciting live acts and a spectacular fireworks display.

Khalid Al Qaseer, Al Montazah manager, said: “Eid al Fitr is one of the most important celebrations of the year, which is why we, at Al Montazah, are looking forward to a very special four days to mark this occasion. We have put together a world-class range of activities and entertainment to share with our visitors.

“This Eid, being our first, we will be setting the benchmark for many more amazing events to be held in the days, months, and years to come. With Ramadan coming to an end, we are also very excited to be welcoming back visitors to our beautiful waterpark and invite all of the people of Sharjah, the UAE, and beyond to come and enjoy its facilities, experience this festival, and join in the fun.”

The entertainment scheduled as part of the Eid Family Fun and International Show will include three 40-minute performances daily, from 6pm to 11pm, by two renowned international street acts. The first act will feature the comic antics of Adelaide-based Nigel Lunghi, better known as Mr Spin, who will be keeping audiences enthralled, amused, and entertained with his vaudeville-inspired act. Known for his high-level skills, fluid movement, and his very individual and quirky style of comedy, Lunghi’s performances includes showstopping tricks such as a beautiful three-ball juggle, Chinese devil-sticking with baseball bats, one ball manipulation and an eight ball juggle, mixed with mad capped antics and an incredible sense of fun, and more than a few hat tricks.

The second act will introduce the artful moves of Spanish fire performer Miguel Rubio. Held to be one the best fire stick performers working in the world today, Rubio’s act is a perfectly designed synergy of dance, expression, and fire manipulation set against a beautifully composed and emotive musical background, creating a performance that will both entrance and amaze and that is not to be missed. In addition to these performances, children can look forward to face painting, balloon bending and henna activities each evening from 6pm to 11pm. The first two days of Eid will also feature a spectacular fireworks display at 10.05pm.
