Jordanian national Maha Aql thought a friend was playing a prank on her when she received the news she had scooped the Dh1 million jackpot prize from the Mall of the Emirates’ DSF promotion in Dubai.
“I couldn’t believe it when I was first told by the Mall of the Emirates management and thought it was someone playing a joke!” she added. “I never imagined that I would be the lucky recipient of this windfall.” A mother of three, Maha’s life-changing win followed a brief spell of shopping at the Mall of the Emirates and she said she had never won anything before in her life.
