Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) will be exhibiting at the Arabian Travel Market 2019 along with local tourism boards from Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan Airlines, JR Kyushu cruise train "Nanatsuboshi", Hilton Japan, Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo, Tokyu Hotels, and tour operators Ayabex, KNT-CT Global Travel, Miki Travel and MT Japan.
The Japan stand is located at AS2050 in Hall 3, and will feature the key themes of "Luxury", "Authenticity" and "Seasons". Real cherry blossoms have been imported from Japan to decorate the stand. Tea ceremony, traditional street juggling act and kimono shows are scheduled daily at the stage.
Japan has gained popularity as a preferred holiday destination by international tourists, which numbered 31 million visitors in 2018, an 8.7 per cent increase from the previous year.
JNTO is planning to strengthen the marketing activities in the Middle East this year, and the participation at the ATM is a part of a strategy to reach out to the travel industry in the region.
With distinctive four seasons; cherry blossoms and other flowers in spring, greenery and marine activities in summer, autumn foliage and snow in winter, tourists can always find beautiful nature throughout the year.
Unique authentic experiences can be easily included in the itinerary by staying at Ryokan (Japanese style inn) and bathing in natural hot springs.
Tsutomu Shimura, Chief Executive Director of JNTO says, "We have identified the Middle East market as an important market for travellers seeking unique luxury experiences and will use the ATM to spearhead a great number of promotional activities in the region."
Japan is the perfect holiday destination for anyone who is looking for an authentic travel experience. #EnjoyMyJapan
