Jail, fine for arson
DUBAI —The Dubai Court of First Instance sentenced F.B.N., a 25-year-old Pakistani, to one year in prison to be followed by deportation and fined him Dh2, 000 for setting fire to a two-storey building used as a bachelors' residence in Dubai.
The defendant and two of his compatriots used a bottle filled with petrol and a piece of cloth as a fuse and threw the Molotov cocktail into the building from a moving car.
