It's not a matter of office time

TWO children were reportedly locked inside a game cave billed 'Panic House' in a game centre in one of the Sharjah malls. The children got through the cave in a cable car. They were extremely frightened of the dark paths of the cave, which were full of terrifying shapes, skeletons, horrifying creatures, big spiders, etc.

Having finished their office hours, the game supervisors switched off the game and the lights without checking if there were children inside the cave or not. The children stayed in darkness for hours as reported in the daily Al Bayan. Luckily, they were discovered and saved.

In view of that, supervisors or guards are of no use. They are not to stand still. They have an important job to care for. They should understand the nature and place of their work, and the age of the people they are dealing with. They should be more responsible towards others.

Employees are entitled to leave work after the end of their office hours. However, office hours in some places are not mere timing. Some jobs need to be finished most properly in advance and before leaving.
