The heavy rains hit regions of Morocco that have been suffering from drought for at least six years
“We're working with the promoters to ensure that everybody gets the chance to claim their refunds for the cancelled concert, and we'll continue to accept tickets for refund at least until July 6,” said ITP's Peter Conmy.
He added: “As we stand today, every single refund for returned tickets has been processed by us. It's then up to individual banks how long it takes them to refund card-holders. Some will do it instantly and some will take a couple of days. We'll process all further refunds within 24 hours of receiving the requests, right up July 6.”
Dubai Municipality regulations require that ticket holders applying for a refund should return the physical ticket in order for the refund to be processed. The credit card transaction is then reversed through the relevant bank and card payment system and the ticket holder's credit card account is credited. There is no transaction or processing fees charged to the consumer during this process.
Any ticket holder with questions regarding the refund process can check at www.itp.net/tickets/purchase_policy.php or can call the Time Out Ticketline on 800 4669. The cancelled concert was organised by Mirage Promotions.
