“Humanity is passing through a historical crisis as conflict on religion, race and faith have escalated during the past few years. God taught us to live in peace. However, human beings misinterpret God’s words and are creating problems for each other,” he observed. “We are living in a world were conflicts are escalating day by day. This is not what God wished for us. If we do not recognise it, the world will face severe problems which cannot be solved,” he pointed out.

Ibrahim Bu Melha, Chairman of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award was presented at the function.
