This was stated by Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, during his meeting with a delegation from Oasis Hospital in Al Ain.

He said the qualities of late Shaikh Zayed were derived from the tolerance of the Islamic religion and its teachings which call for respecting other beliefs and adopting good morals.

Late Shaikh Zayed thought of establishing the hospital when a foreign man and a woman made a proposal to him in 1959 for building a hospital and a church to serve the Christian community in the country at that time.

He hailed the Islamic republic of Indonesia, which has early 242 million Muslims as an example of religious tolerance.
