"Gabon urges all Arabs and Africans to adopt a solid stand against the aggression," he said in a lecture at the Zayed Centre for Coordination and Follow-Up (ZCCF).

Mr Mambongo warned that war on Iraq will yield grave consequences setting a precedent that would give any country the right to invade another, which will contradict international legitimacy.

He reiterated his country's support to the Palestinian people and their struggle for the creation of an independent state. He said the Israeli actions in the occupied territories were grave violation against humanity.
