The new programme -which is the fourth one of a 12-month campaign- was launched via aeCERT’s website on March 1.
This was done following the successful launch of the first quarter of the ongoing national security awareness campaign by aeCERT of the UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA).The campaign theme for the second quarter is ‘Understanding Internet Threats,’ and it addresses three modules: e-mail security, instant messaging security and web browser security. Eng. Fatma Bazargan, Manager Research and Analysis at the aeCERT stated, ‘This new security awareness programme and education modules will help the nation leverage the benefits of technology; while learning about the key security issues facing individuals and organisations.’
The raid is one of several the coalition has carried out this month on Houthi military sites.
