Banks in the UAE have confirmed the disorders in ATM machines and said the slow Internet access has been causing the problems but it is expected to fix by Tuesday.
An official at HSBC said that the bank have been receiving complaints from the customers since Monday morning.
The official said the slow internet traffic causing problems in central switch network and the ATM’s normal operations have been disrupted. “We expect the problems will be resolved by Tuesday,” said the official.
An official at the Standard Chartered bank confirmed the problems for ATM transactions and said the bank received a number of complaints since Saturday morning.
“The disruption in ATM transactions occurred because of the disruptions in the Internet traffic. The bank is trying to rectify it as soon as possible,” the official said.
