International security conference in capital

ABU DHABI - As many as 130 international, regional, and local security companies will be taking part in the third International Security and National Resilience (ISNR) exhibition slated to be held in the Capital from March 2 to 5, an official has said.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Brigadier Matar Al Niyadi, director of the Information Department at the Ministry of Interior, who is also the head of the organising committee of the event, said the event, which will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre, would bring in varied and international expertise in the security field.

He said that a high-level conference, which will be held along with the exhibition, will tackle several key points, including the security requirements of the police in a multinational environment, the balance between the exigencies of security and human rights in combating crime and terrorism, using the latest technology in boosting security at airports and sea ports, and fighting cyber crimes.‘
