Injured cop on road to recovery
DUBAI - A traffic policeman from the Ras Al Khaimah police force, who was hurt in an accident during the recently-concluded WB-IMF Annual Meetings in Dubai, has recovered and his condition has improved, officials in Dubai said yesterday.
Mohammed Ahmed was honoured for his effort during the event. A Dubai Police delegation called on the policeman at his home to find out how he how he was faring following the unfortunate accident. He was on duty, cooperating with his colleagues from the UAE Interior Ministry, when the accident occurred. The Ras Al Khaimah police team was part of the teams that took part in the efforts that made the WB-IMF (Dubai 2003) a huge success. The Dubai Police delegation was headed by Khalfan Al Jallaf.
