Indians honoured at Goan meet in Dubai
ISC held its annual function at the Sindhi Ceremonial Hall in Dubai recently.

International Sadguru Council (ISC), a non-profit organization fostering global peace and unity under the guidance of Sadguru Brahmeshanand Swami, held an Akshaya Kumbh prayer at Sindhi Ceremonial Hall in Dubai recently.

On the occasion, Indians who have excelled in their respective fields in the UAE were felicitated at the hands of Mohammed Sultan Al Ameri, a UAE military officer, and Tamara Khalid Al Jaff, labour officer, Government of Dubai, in the presence of ISC founder Sadguru Brahmeshanand Swami, and president of Sadguru Foundation and Sadguru Yog Gurukul, Goa, Brahmideviji.

Those felicitated include Sarvotham Shetty, president of Karnataka Sangha, Abu Dhabi, UAE Bunts Sangha and UAE Tulukoota; Saya Salgaonkar, accounts manager, CEO office, NMC Healthcare, and Devdatta Sakhalkar, owner of Flavours of India restaurant, Abu Dhabi.

The prayer was performed by Atharavedacharya pandit Anup Shelar and Kalpesh Gawas.

Based in Goa, ISC is spreading the message of 'vasudhaiva kutumbhakam' (The world is one family) with its motto being unity and integrity.

The council, which has 150 members, is rendering yeoman's service to the people for last four years in the UAE in diverse fields such as social, spiritual, educational and sports. Dr Swapnil Nagvekar welcomed and Tanvi Nagvekar compered the function.
