Merchant donated the amount to support school projects and the cheque was handed over to the school on Thursday at Al Qaud's office.

Al Qaud praised the school’s administration for the successful communication with private establishments in coordination with the educational zone and the Ministry of Education.

The school's effort was in response to the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to build partnerships between private and public sectors to deal with the local challenges and develop resources.

Earlier, Minister of Education Dr Hanif Hassan had honoured Merchant for his support to the projects of the MoE.

It was a coincidence that Merchant was at the MoE office when the head of the UAQ Education Zone and the delegation from the school also came to the office a few days ago.
