For the past 18 years, Mohammed, who is now a driver at the Sharjah Transport Company, had been toiling hard in the UAE to realise his dream — to start a construction company. However, he could save only Dh20,000 all these years.

Now he can think of it as he has won the raffle draw of Post Card Millionaire worth Dh100,000.

According to Rafik, he received a call from The Millionaire Co. on February 14 informing him that he had won the Postcard Millionaire’s 72nd weekly draw. “It was the most pleasant call I have ever received. The voice on the other end sounded divine,” said Rafik.

“I had bought the Postcard Millionaire pack 85 times, hoping every time that I would win."

The winning Postcard Millionaire pack was purchased from a Millionaire kiosk in Rolla, Sharjah.

Rafik, who hails from the state of Rajasthan in India, had been working in various construction companies till one year back when he joined the Sharjah Transport Company as a driver.

He wishes to utilise his 17 years of experience in the construction field and invest in the industry. Rafik has wife and four children back home.
