Illegal fishing tools confiscated
DUBAI — In coordination with Sharjah Police, the Ministry of Environment and Water yesterday raided several outlets selling illegal fishing tools.
These include a large number of nets made of plastic and nylon that pollute the environment and water. Hassan Saeed Al Khamiri, Head of Fishermen Services Section at the Ministry, said that the nets were confiscated by the inspectors.
