IEEE team attends events at KV

DUBAI — Dubai Knowledge Village (KV) recently received a top-level delegation from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE), the world’s leading professional association for the advancement of technology.

The delegation, which included IEEE President Dr Michael Lightner and IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Chair Mary Ellen Randall, attended events associated with the anniversary of ‘Women in Engineering — UAE Section’ held from July 4 to July 6.

“Knowledge Village is striving to provide the environment where learning and research, knowledge and skills, and aptitude and experience can meet and prosper. We have a young and growing base of talented and skilled people and we realise the need to interact with world-class institutions such as the IEEE so that our professionals with technical backgrounds can gain from exposure to the best that is available worldwide,” said Dr Ayoub Kazim, Executive Director of KV.

The IEEE is a non-profit, technical professional association of more than 365,000 individual members in 150 countries.
