Ahmad Nasser Al Vardan, Board Chairman of the Association, lauded the efforts of Gen. Shaikh Mohammed to support the association's initiative. "The exhibition is aimed at materialising our plans, which are aimed at boosting skills of handicapped children," he said.

Mr Al Vardan said that such events would raise the morale of handicapped children as they contribute in the country's development.

Talking about the exhibition, Mona Al Mansouri, head of the organising committee of the exhibition, highlighted the importance of offering high quality services to children with special needs.

"Handicapped children should receive special moral and social support through programmes aimed at engaging them in social activities. Such programmes would enhance their skills, spread awareness about their needs, and preserve their rights," Mona said.
She focused on the association's role to support this category of students, adding that the association has been organising the exhibition for six years in different emirates.

"Centres of handicapped children from the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (AGCC) countries will also participate in the exhibition. Well-known international artists and other artists with special needs will also take part in the exhibition," she added.
