Dubai’s fitness-conscious community woke up to an inspiring morning of yoga on Saturday for Dubai Yoga Day by Oysho. Hundreds of people flocked to the stunning surroundings of Skydive Dubai, which looks out to the Palm and the striking towers of Dubai Marina, to discover the sense of well-being and happiness that outdoor exercise en masse brings.
Guided by Liz Terry and Peewee Sanchez, two highly interactive and motivational yoga instructors who led two free master classes in the morning, enthusiastic participants performed one yoga ritual after another under the open sky.
Supporting the #HappyDubai initiative, recently launched by the Dubai Municipality, Oysho’s community event encourages everyone to take up a healthier, happier lifestyle while enjoying the benefits of our city.
“It has been a truly incredible experience to watch Dubai’s community spirit come alive at this event,” said Liz Terry, Yoga Instructor for Dubai Oysho Yoga Day. “Yoga as a stress reliever and therapy for wellness is already a popular choice in Dubai, but to watch so many yoga lovers together at one event is remarkable and only serves to show the city’s eagerness to pursue a happy and healthy lifestyle. I would like to thank OYSHO for organising this spectacular event and by doing so offering Dubai’s residents the opportunity to explore new ways to lead an active lifestyle.” -news@khaleejtimes.com
