Eating out, poor hand hygiene and erratic weather may be among causes, say medics
The DSF 2004 mega raffle will have the daily winner winning two Lexus cars, an RS330 4x4 and an ES 300 saloon, as well as Dh150,000 in cash. The total value of their winnings will be Dh420,000. The Lexus dealers in Dubai are offering a buy-back scheme on the cars.
Abdulla Amiri, Raffles Committee Coordinator, said: "People started to buy the tickets from the very first day that ticket sales began. Tickets are available in 41 ENOC/EPPCO stations across Dubai as well as in kiosks at Deira City Centre, Gold Souk, Al Fahidi Street, Baniyas Square and the Global Village."
"We are confident that raffles will attract a huge number of people, also because of the added value that is being brought in this year by EMAAR offering the winnings of a villa a week. The remaining raffle tickets after the daily draws will all go into a weekly draw for a villa in the EMAAR Springs project worth half a million dirhams," he added.
The first draw will take place on January 15, the first day of DSF 2004.
