House of Talents selects 25 ladies

DUBAI — The DSF office has so far selected 25 talented ladies out of a large number of applications received for the House of Talents, the exhibition which will run for 10 days between January 29 and February at its new location in Dar Al Nadwah in Al Seef Street is sponsored by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).

Organised under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Defence Minister, the House of Talents provides an encouraging platform for UAE-based ladies and girls, wanting to showcase their talent in the fields of interior design, architecture, fine arts, unusual hobbies, photography, handicrafts, music, creative writing and poetry, theatre and others.

The popular venue aims to offer a launch pad for new and aspiring individuals with creative flair and talent.

The selected ladies are a powerhouse of talent with proficiency in creating attractive handbags, silk and oil painting, stitching and embroidery of table cloths, duvets, frames etc.

Now in its seventh year, the House of Talents is expected to attract aspiring individuals with creative flair and talent. The House of Talents is made interesting for the visitors looking out for a variety of household décor and gift items as some of the participants opt to sell.
