Sharjah – As part of its corporate social responsibility, Centro Sharjah hosted an Iftar gathering for around 100 residents of The Old People's Home in Sharjah.
The hotel management headed by Michael Kasch, General Manager, with support from the centre’s head, Mansour Mohammed Haji, organised the Iftar involving traditional Arabic delights brought about through true Arabian hospitality.
Commenting on the event, Kasch expressed: “ This gesture of hosting the Iftar for our community elders is now a tradition during Ramadan for Centro Sharjah,” he added, “we are honoured to be given this opportunity to celebrate the ethos of Ramadan”
During the Iftar gathering, management not only serves food to the elders but interact with them and entertaining them to give them a sense of belonging.
Since its incorporation, Centro Sharjah has been active with several community service initiatives and rendered support to non-government organisations. This initiative reinstates the fundamental values of respect and integrity for the community as part of the hotel’s vision.
