Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 19)

An examination of your life’s goals might lead you to take a long hard look at a personal relationship. Is it time to cut loose? The Moon’s eclipse of the warlike planet Mars suggests that forceful words are the wrong way to go about ending a partnership that’s simply run its course. If your feelings have indeed cooled, aa polite parting of the ways is certainly the preferred and indeed the fairer option. Even though you’re a Fire Sign, there’s no need to employ scorched-earth tactics to secure your freedom.

Taurus (Apr 20 - May 20)

Anyone dealing with you this week might feel it’s a bit like trying to walk on eggshells without making a sound. The slightest thing provokes you and you don’t seem to care who receives your wrath. People often mask their own sense of failure by expressions of anger. But that’s a rather self-defeating defence mechanism. True, a few things have not gone as planned, but it could have been worse, so cheer up. Recovering from minor setbacks helps to boost your immune system and toughen you up.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

The Moon’s alignments with opposing planetary influences this week suggest a possible dilemma. Do you continue to do your duty or down tools and follow your gut? As an instinctive creature, the Crab should always trust its natural inclinations. In trying to fulfill certain unimportant obligations, you’re allowing yourself to be sucked back by the ebbing tide and risk drowning. A little rest will enable you to hit the beach in the very near future in feisty form, full of cracking ideas and fit for anything.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22

Leo (July 23 - Aug 22)

The Sun in Gemini tends to make for erratic weather and unsettled conditions. It’s not the best time for hunting and the Lion will have to be patient. However much you want to hurry things along, the risks are not worth it. An impulse to act before the climate is right could alienate your staunchest supporters. They are always happy to provide cover if they perceive that the pride’s interest and the prospect of a shared victory guide your motives. A rash and reckless independent gesture might be interpreted as arrogance.

Virgo (Aug 23 - Sept 22)

As Mercury joins the Sun in unstable Gemini, expect things to be in a state of flux for a couple of weeks. Although the goalposts appear to be on the move, it’s not the time to avoid a tricky issue which the stars predict is likely to prove here-today-gone-tomorrow anyway. Hang in there! After all your input, it would be a shame if you threw the game away seconds before the final whistle. Where others have to pause to take stock, you’re quick enough to sneak past the defence and score a last minute goal.

Libra (Sept 23 - Oct 22)

Pluto’s misalignment with your ruler Venus casts a long shadow on the social angle of your chart. You might meet with an initial lack of response to raise the general mood, but don’t give up! Engineer casual get-togethers as occasions to combine business with pleasure with the right people. You don’t have to make expensive gestures to establish goodwill. It’s far better to project an image of style in comfort and show you have the common touch. You learn more about people when they let their hair down.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21)

A Lunar-Mars eclipse this week is bound to bring out the normally shy scorpion. It marks an occasion to celebrate, but note that cosmic conflict involving both Saturn and Pluto could dampen spirits as well. If you’re planning a party, you can ensure a good time by vetting your guest list. You’ll do yourself good by keeping company with the young at heart, so make sure no wet blankets or moaning Minnies are included. Asking party-poopers is like inviting the skies to rain on your parade.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 - Dec 21)

The Moon’s confrontation with your freedom-loving ruler Jupiter is likely to cause you to question the present circumstances. If you feel you’ve become too restricted, you should welcome any chance to change things. Of the opportunities presented, one may require a complete abandonment of current commitments. Should you feel drawn into something that promises more excitement, don’t feel guilty or disloyal. Seek advice if you must, but ultimately it’s up to you to decide whether you want to cut yourself loose. It’s possible that those who have relied on you for support would also welcome becoming independent. Don’t feel you have to stick around for old time’s sake.

Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 19)

Narrow-minded nit-picking Saturn faces hostility from the broadminded Moon this week to remind you that your current obsession with fulfilling targets is getting out of hand. Stop the carping and criticism of people who are trying their best to satisfy your increasingly petty demands. It’s out of character for you to be so fussy and you must admit your current attitudes are failing to keep friends and influence people. Honesty is important, but there better ways too persuade others to lift their sights to meet your own exacting expectations. There’s plenty to indicate that the hiccups are minor and that with more positive leadership things will pick up soon. You really must lighten up!

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)

Your ruler Uranus is isolated by negative vibes from both the Sun and Mercury this week. The resultant gloom sometimes heralds painful separation, a broken love affair or a failed partnership. If the union is important to you, the onus is on you to keep things together. Perhaps you’re the one who has failed to express your feelings and this has disheartened the other. It’s time to declare yourself and be honest as to why you felt it necessary to hold back. If you think you have a responsibility towards some third party, forget it! No one will hang around if you remain torn by divided loyalties and keep erecting barriers and stop signs. You can’t put the prospect of a happy future on hold indefinitely. Life is far too short!

Pisces (Feb 19- Mar 20)

A Moon-Neptune conjunction this week could distort your perception and heighten your emotional sensitivity. You may imagine that you have become the subject of idle gossip. However, don’t be quick to take offence because you assume that you’re being disparaged or ridiculed. This is far from the case. Rather than becoming touchy, you should feel flattered. In the past you’ve been labeled a dreamer, but so what? Who else can make the castles of the air real? Those born under Pisces have an unparalleled breadth of vision and a flair for implementation, but self-belief is important. If anyone can make their dreams come true, you can. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
