Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 19)

Aries’ ruler, the fiery and passionate Mars, runs parallel with the temptress Venus this week. This may turn the Ram capricious and frisky. Social niceties such as modesty could disappear if you let your impulses take over. Instead of the sincere declaration intended, your hot words, rash promises and impetuous gestures might prove to be a real turn-off. Wait for an invitation rather than simply turn up, and don’t appear to be noticeably seeking favours. Folk prefer chasing those with a laid-back attitude.

Taurus (Apr 20- May 20)

A harmonious Mercury-Venus conjunction begins a great week. Things weren’t good at the start of the year and the hurdles you faced seemed overwhelming. However you’ve since found fellowship in the unlikeliest of places and the developing sense of unity is set to grow. You’ll see this when your ruler Venus moves parallel to Mars next Wednesday. This combines forces of peace and passion, blessing all unions. Remember: your word is a bond that doesn’t require a signed contract, but don’t rule out a chance to celebrate!

Gemini (May 21 - Jun 20)

Busy Mercury is given a light-hearted touch by Venus this week and you can stop being so sober and serious. Being in a rut isn’t for you — fortunately the stars are set to make changes. You’re about to get the chance to take off with a heaven-sent opportunity. How will you recognise this make-or-break moment? It will probably pop up during casual conversation. An off-the-cuff remark will reignite ideas and hopes that you had shelved long ago. You’ll gain the confidence to seek an authority figure whose influence will help you pursue your dream.

Cancer (Jun 21 - Jul 22)

A clash between the over-emotional Moon and the cosmic show-off Jupiter will unleash wild behaviour this Sunday. Hard-luck stories and feigned sympathy will both get an airing. Whose pain is real and which people are simply being drama queens? You may waste time on the undeserving and miss those who really need your help. Leo (Jul 23 - Aug 22)

Regardless of planetary chaos, Leo seems destined to progress this week. This is due to the Sun’s imminent entry into Aquarius. The sway of this Air Sign usually means a lucky time for the optimist.
