Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 19)

The week will be fruitful for pursuing long-term goals. A Solar-Uranus link will provide a dynamic opportunity, but striking out alone into uncharted territory won’t be easy. You’ll need vital insider information that will help get your foot in the door and obtain the necessary capital. You’ll need to be pushy from start to finish. However, once you’re on a roll, you can’t stop the roller-coaster — ensure you’re not getting into anything you can’t handle and resist the temptation to try and make a fast buck.

Taurus (Apr 20 - May 20)

Benevolent aspects start your week as your ruler Venus enters accommodating Pisces. You’ll find great satisfaction dealing with others at work, further building on your reputation as a team player. You need people with a willingness to share the load to accomplish your goals quicker. However, don’t expect a 9-5 week because it will be informal and out-of-hours approaches will prove the most fruitful. Provided you’re not greedy and act co-operative, you can’t fail to make people want to work with you.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

A Sun-Uranus conjunction this week puts the focus on change and trying new methods. Innovation is on the cards and you should seek advice from those who have faced such challenges before. Don’t be bossed about. State your objectives up front and stay open-minded, giving yourself some slack to alter direction if necessary. There’s no need to consider mutiny to make a statement. March is ruled by Isis, the goddess of logic. She’ll guide you to discard the options that have no place in your plans.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

Your week sees a Lunar conjunction with the mighty Jupiter. While this may give you lofty aspirations and encourage you to punch above your weight, you should keep your goals tailored to your means. However, being prudent isn’t an excuse to abandon your dreams. Some things are better enjoyed once you’ve built up an appetite. By next weekend, you’ll have reason to feel really good about your prospects. In the meantime, you can relax in the company of a certain somebody willing to mark time with you.

Leo (July 23 - Aug 22)

The Sun’s powerful alignment with Uranus is a positive sign for the Lion. It signifies unexpected brainwaves and the chance to make new friends. The same old hunting grounds never suit the King of the Jungle for too long and you will be tempted to try something new. Ignore those who think you are just hard to please. With a healthy appetite, you need to live life to the fullest. Your experience walking on the wild side makes you a superb mentor for the less intrepid. One new face in particular could prove a willing pupil.

Virgo (Aug 23 - Sept 22)

The relations of Mercury with sober Saturn and irrational Pluto this week will create a moral dilemma. Will you resort to the salesman’s patter of half-truths? There’s no reason to fear that sticking to the whole truth could result in a loss of custom or popularity. You need to be firm but fair. Project a reliable and reputable self or corporate image. If you use superficial charm, you’ll create the impression of being too smooth an operator. Honesty sells itself and people will come back if they trust you are genuine. Call a spade a spade!

Libra (Sept 23 - Oct 22)

This looks to be a memorable week for the Libran. Your ruler Venus moving into Pisces will signal a change of heart. You should begin to value what people think of you and be more determined to please. Projecting an attractive self-image is important — find the balance between what shows real class and what’s regarded as totally out of place. If you give heed to the niceties of protocol and guard against too casual an approach, you’ll hit the right spot: getting noticed without overtly drawing attention to yourself.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21)

Cosmic activity involving your Co-Ruler Pluto, the planet of clandestine conspiracies, stresses the importance of keeping secrets. To find the truth you need to ask the right questions. Eventually you’ll obtain the information required to deal with a difficult personal matter. Keep the issue under wraps for now — unscrupulous individuals are ready to benefit from your knowledge and use it against you. Celestial conflict on Tuesday stresses the need to play a waiting game. The time to show your hand will come.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 - Dec 21)

Your ruler Jupiter is currently going retrograde in balanced Libra to underline the possibility of prickly personal relations and wounded pride. The Archer is frank and outspoken, but sometimes too blunt and apt to rub people up the wrong way. Some nifty side stepping is not beyond you, and offence can be mitigated by a little extra politeness. The passage of courteous Venus into Pisces should enable you to see problems from a less ego-centred perspective. You don’t have to go as far as admitting you’ve been wrong, but an apology for seeming rude would not go amiss. It’s time to show respect and good manners to secure cooperation. You’ll receive what you dish out.

Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 19)

As your ruler Saturn is busy going backwards in Cancer this week, don’t expect much help from above. What you achieve will be up to you entirely and you can’t leave things in the lap of the gods. Only hard slog can bring a rewarding result in terms of endeavours to expand. But you can do it! With a little imagination, the big idea or bold plan can be pulled off, but you have to think big and act smart. Once in front, you’ll soon know what you’re up against and how to deal with it. You’ll find, however, that knowing how something is done is one thing, but getting other people to do it is another. However, positive thinking and self belief will do the business. Give it your best shot!

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)

As your ruler Uranus is energised by the Sun this week, the imaginative and inventive side of your personality is given extra dash and vitality. You should be really full of zest, and your good humour will make you popular. However, don’t become unrealistic regarding your own worth or the value of your ideas. You sometimes come up with too many good ideas without the persistence required to nurture them to fruition. Some people may be apt to dismiss you as a butterfly or shooting star, bright and clever in a fleeting, flashy way. Use your energy and flair to see one of your many irons in the fire wrought into a finished product. If you hang around to complete one important job, you’ll make a lasting impression.

Pisces (Feb 19- Mar 20)

With both the Sun and Venus in your own sign you need to be prepared for a dramatic period. You have to be flexible as things won’t appear to conform to expectations or timing. Similarly people will act in unpredictable ways. While you naturally incline to making up your mind slowly, there’s much to be gained by acting on instinct. Trust your natural sense of discrimination to enable you to select the finest and the best and get shot of the second-rate. However, there are some issues on which you must keep an open mind and await the outcome of events. What is ultimately clear is should you remain hesitant — you’ll miss the boat and thus a golden opportunity.
