Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 19)

The transit of Mars into industrious Capricorn on Monday starts a progressive period. You’re fired with ambition, drive and ruthlessness to get ahead. The cosmic influences will work well for such a self-reliant and pushy individual. While you’ll have to undertake the pioneering bit yourself, the success of the pilot project is guaranteed and will attract potential support. The Ram’s fatal flaw is its lack of staying power, but this enterprise will keep you hooked to the finish. It won’t be easy, but you’ll surely bite the bullet and have a go.

Taurus (Apr 20- May 20)

A Moon-Venus conjunction this week stresses the importance of harmony. It’s vital that you don’t say something to spoil things. You can’t afford to lose friends over trivial issues. You’d prefer that the truth be made public and find the concealment of the facts distasteful, but while your desire for justice is noble, your view isn’t widely shared. Remember that a few bruised egos represent all the collateral damage sustained. No one was really hurt and everybody will eventually get over it. Get people to bury the hatchet and start talking.

Gemini (May 21 - Jun 20)

Your informative ruler Mercury conjuncts with both the Moon and Neptune this week to heighten your awareness. You won’t let anyone put one over you, although one or two might try. You know what you want and have a clear understanding of your opponents. There could be a clash with someone close, but be courageous: there’s nothing underhanded in your agenda. In a verbal stand-off, you’ll have the last word — the one that nails shut the liar’s coffin. That will teach them what happens when they mess with you!

Cancer (Jun 21 - Jul 22)

The Moon in Aquarius warns of wind and floods. You’re well protected against the extremes of the weather as Cancer draws power from lunar conjunctions with several planets. Others won’t enjoy this emotional stability and you could find yourself playing big brother or agony aunt. It won’t be easy to separate the genuine call of distress from fraudulent emotional blackmail in a stampede. Fortunately the Crab has superb escape mechanisms. When being swamped with impossible appeals, bury your head in the sand.
