Hamed quits as GAHS chief

ABU DHABI — The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, yesterday accepted the resignation of Shaikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as chairman of the Abu Dhabi’s General Authority for Health Services (GAHS).

Shaikh Hamed, who headed the authority since its inception, said in the resignation letter that he wanted to focus more on his responsibilities as the chairman of the Department of Planning and Economy.
