Hamdan for UAE-German cooperation in judiciary
DUBAI — Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance and Industry, received the German Minister of Justice, Brigitte Zypries. They discussed cooperation in the judicial fields.
The German minister lauded the laws being implemented at the Dubai Courts, which she described as the world class laws, particularly for their respect for human rights.
Shaikh Hamdan urged the Dubai Courts to benefit from the German expertise in judiciary.
Earlier, Shaikh Hamdan received Essam Awadh Al Mutaweli, Sudanese Consul-General in Dubai, who paid a courtesy call to mark the commencement of his assignment.
Shaikh Hamdan welcomed the Sudanese diplomat and wished him success in performing his functions.
