Gulf Air planning minimal changes

"It is therefore business as usual with only minor changes caused by the rerouting of aircraft with Air Traffic Control restrictions and revised ICAO routes," said James Hogan, President and Chief Executive, Gulf Air (GF).

There are two cancellations of flights which include the GF288 flight at 10.55am from Abu Dhabi to Kuala Lumpur, and the GF288 flight at 10.55pm from Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta.

For intra-Gulf routes, flights have been revised as follows: GF007 flight which departs from Abu Dhabi at 12am, will arrive in Bahrain at 12.15am; GF519 flight from Doha at 12.35am will arrive in Bahrain at 1.20am; GF541 flight from Abu Dhabi at 9am will arrive Bahrain at 9.10am; GF044 flight from Bahrain at 11.25pm will arrive in Abu Dhabi at 1.30am the following day; and GF505 flight from Dubai at 10pm will arrive in Bahrain at 10.15pm. Flights to Kuwait are subject to continuous review.

The revisions for European routes apply to flights departing from Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Istanbul. The revised flight schedules are as follows: GF007 flight from Abu Dhabi to Bahrain at 12 midnight to arrive in Bahrain at 12.15am, with the same flight to depart from Bahrain at 1.10am to reach London at 6.35am; GF003 flight from Bahrain at 12pm is expected to arrive in London at 5.25pm; GF043 flight from Bahrain at 12.15pm to arrive in Istanbul at 4.45pm; and GF044 flight from Istanbul at 5.35pm to arrive in Bahrain at 10.45pm.

For Mediterranean routes, four flights have been revised. GF911 flight which departs from Bahrain at 10am is scheduled to arrive in Beirut at 1.10pm; GF910 flight from Beirut at 2pm will arrive in Bahrain at 6.30pm; GF973 flight from Bahrain at 2.10pm to arrive Amman at 5.05pm; and GF974 flight from Amman at 5.55pm to arrive in Abu Dhabi at 11.30pm.

The flight schedules of Iran route were also revised. GF324 flight which departs from Bahrain at 5.05pm is scheduled to arrive in Shiraz at 8.25pm; and GF325 flight from Shiraz at 9.15pm to arrive in Bahrain at 9.35pm.

Meanwhile, Gulf Air has established a dedicated "Gulf Travel Update" web site located at www.gulftra velupdate.com. The site is regularly updated to provide the latest information on flight schedules. In addition, all Gulf Air reservation agents are able to provide information relating to travel requirements of passengers. Their contact numbers are available on the site. Passengers are advised to check in early for their flights.
