Guidelines for Exams in Govt Schools
DUBAI - The Education Ministry announced on Thursday the examination timings for different semesters and classes. The examinations for secondary students in public schools could commence in May provided schools meet the conditions laid down by the ministry. It has also instructed all education zones to set the exam timings.
Director General at the ministry, Rashid Al Nuaimi, said the exams for Grades IV to XI can commence from May 17 only if schools complete their syllabi and academic plans on time. Also, exams have to be held on consecutive days and during official working hours. The English language semester exams for grades X and XI in public and Al Ghad schools for Grade X will be held on May 18 while the ones for the Grade XI literary and scientific section will be held on May 21.
