After the successful #DubaiSwissRoadTrip across two continents in September 2016, Let's Drive traversed three continents -- Asia, Europe and Africa -- by road, completing on May 15.
The road trip involved travelling approximately 10,000 kms across 15 countries, and more than 20 major cities.
The team held a flag-off event in Dubai prior to their departure on May 24 to mark the completion of their six-month long preparations to embark on this journey. The sponsors and driving enthusiasts attended this event to flag off the participating cars which drove through Iran, Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Monaco, Spain and Morocco.
A conversation with Abdul Rafey and Jamal Khan from the lead driving team revealed that 'Drive3Continents with TyrePlus' is supported by BFGoodrich and Tyreplus, who qualified the participating cars for the challenge and tested the cars for safety along the route in Turkey and Spain to ensure successful completion of the initiative. In continuation of distributing books around 15 countries during the ReadingNationUAE campaign in 2016, Let's Drive on this drive have spread a word about the unique attractions of Dubai and presented small gifts along the 15-country route creating fans for Let's Drive and Dubai all over the world.
In their aim to provide opportunities to people with common passion, Let's Drive has planned more interesting initiatives in the year ahead to welcome enthusiasts with ideas, energy and passion to soar heights together. With the interest people have shown in our ideas and confidence of our supporters, sky is the limit for us, says Abdul.
