Govt employees to get salary next Monday

Employees of the Abu Dhabi and Dubai government departments will get their salaries for the month of July early in view of the holy month of Ramadan.

Hamad Al Suweidi, Chairman of Department of Finance, Abu Dhabi, announced on Saturday that employees at local departments of the Abu Dhabi Government, personnel at the Armed Forces General Headquarters and Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters and police and army pensioners will get their salaries on July 25.”

He said the pre-Ramadan gesture was in implementation of directives by the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to provide both Emiratis and expatriate residents with best services.

In Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, has ordered to issue July salaries for the employees of the Dubai Government ahead of Ramadan to enable them meet requirements for the holy month.

According to the orders, the Dubai Government entities shall arrange to transfer their respectiveemployees’ salaries to the banks as of July 25.
