Think again, because you could be going around in circles and face the nightmare of finding a parking place for your car. One would have driven around the block a dozen times trying to find parking space or spot a car pulling out without any success. It's a virtual trap, this area.
To say that the Gold Souq is one of the most visited places in Dubai is to state the obvious, since the Emirate of Dubai has come to be known as the Gold Capital.
This makes the issue of having adequate parking space all the more important, and this is felt here particularly during the summer months.
And with Dubai witnessing a boom in tourist inflow during the summer months with it's various activities, there is an urgent need to look into the issue. The authorities should ensure that there are enough parking lots in the area to deal with the increasing crowds and to avoid inconvenience to the visitors.
