Girls top in HSS Part-I examination

DUBAI — The Higher Secondary School Examination Part I (Grade 11) results declared by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad registered an overall good performance by girls in the UAE.

Some of the results received are as follows:

Pakistan Islamia Higher Secondary School, Ajman, had a good result with Moazzama Kauser clinching the first position in the school in Science stream obtaining 426 marks. Sadia Zahid and Dania Mustajab obtained second and third positions among the girls with 401 and 371 marks. Adeel Ahmed Siddiqui with 381 marks obtained the first position among the boys while Ashar Marghoob and Junaid Aslam secured the second and third positions with 370 and 363 marks, respectively.

Quratulain Ali Naqvi got the top position in school in the Commerce stream with 397 marks while Shaheena Shah and Madiha Riaz obtained the second and third positions among the girls with 371 and 367 marks, respectively. Among the boys, Asad Waheed got the first position with 384 marks, Hamza Shahazad with 376 marks stood second and Faisal Tanveer with 358 marks stood third.

Pakistan Higher Secondary School, Ras Al Khaimah, sent a total of 61 students for the examination this year. In the pre-medical group, Fahad Fayyaz Butt bagged the top position in school with 431 marks while Mobin Jehangir with 406 and Sadia Tanveer with 398 secured second and third positions, respectively. In the pre-engineering group Umber Adeel topped with 402 marks, while Jahanzeb Hanif with 385 marks and Amreena Saeed with 371 marks bagged the second and third positions.

In the computer group, Ahmed Muhammed Azam stood first with 341 marks, Zaubair Ijazulhaq stood second with 331 marks and Ahmed Muhammad Zawar third with 316 marks.
