Fund-raising for Iraqis
DUBAI - The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Works yesterday launched a fund-raising campaign for the assistance of the Iraqi victims of war.
Ibrahim Bu Melha, the deputy chairman of the organisation's board of governors, said that the organisation had laid down a plan aimed at extending assistance to the Iraqi people, both inside and outside Iraq. He added that the fund-raising was launched in cooperation with other charity organisations in the country with the aim of providing urgent humanitarian assistance to the Iraqi people.
He appealed to all benevolent people to send their donations to the organisation's account numbers - 8570000 with Dubai Islamic Bank, and 1515111050 with the National Bank of Dubai. - Wam
