The man was charged with sexual assault with the use of force and physical assault in the Court of First Instance.

The incident happened in August last year when the duo slapped the teen and tied his hands with a belt and his feet with a piece of cloth and then assaulted him.

The student told the prosecutor that he went to the defendant’s house in Oud Al Muttaina at around 8am that day. The student added that the defendant was his friend. The defendant’s friend, the accomplice was also there at that time.

The defendant asked the student to go to his bedroom saying he wanted to talk to him in private. There, he slapped the student on his face and told him he wanted to have sex with him. But the student disagreed.

The accomplice then entered the room and together with the defendant tied the student’s hands and feet. He then left the room and the defendant sexually assaulted the student twice.

The latter then untied himself and walked out of the room when the defendant fell asleep.

The student narrated the incident to his uncle who took him to Al Qusais police station.

An Emirati policeman said that he wrote down the student’s statement after the latter filed a complaint.

The student was quoted as saying that he did not want to have sex with the defendant and resisted him.

According to the Criminal Lab report, the DNA of the semen found on the student matched with the defendant’s.

Marks were found on his face which indicated that he was beaten up. The Public Prosecution said in its remarks enclosed to the case file that the defendant had a criminal record.
