Dr Mohammed Mattar Al Kaabi, Director-General of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, said that authority has changed the content of the Friday prayer sermon in line with the instructions of the state’s leadership to instantly despatch relief substances to help the Pakistani people suffering from unprecedented catastrophe. The sermon stressed that helping those who are in dire need is the kind of work which the God almighty likes.

Prompting worshippers and God believing people, the Friday prayer sermon called for efforts to help the Pakistani people to provide them with food, medicines and other important substances. Donation can be made through the philanthropic organisations accredited in the country, especially the Red Crescent Authority which has a vast experience.
