Free Umrah trip for athletes with special needs
DUBAI - The asset management group owned by Dubai Real Estate Corporation (DREC), wasl, announced on Wednesday that it would sponsor an "Umrah Pilgrimage Trip" for members of the UAE Disabled Sports Federation - athletes with special needs.
The sponsorship comes in the form of an all expenses-paid trip to the holy city of Makkah in Saudi Arabia.
Alya Al Mutawa, general manager of marketing and corporate communications, wasl, said: "As a socially responsible corporation, wasl acknowledges the welfare of people from every segment of the society.
"Our company is built around the core philosophy of 'we value people', and we explore every opportunity to support this principle."
