Windspeeds of 76 knots were registered and confirmed by DIMC at Mina Seyahi. "We arrived at the club on Friday morning to see many boats upturned and blown about as if they were match sticks" commented Sharon Allison, Club Administrator. "Most of the craft were secured to the ground by a secure system of tie downs" explained Colin Slowey, chief instructor at JASC. "It seemed to make little difference in such extreme conditions" he added.
