Held under the patronage of Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the three-day exhibition will focus on education, language, culture and tourism in France.

Speaking at a Press conference held here at the Cultural Foundation on Monday, Francois Gouyette, Ambassador of France, said that the exhibition will raise awareness about the scope of cultural and educational vacations to France by combining the concept of learning the French language and exploring the country at the same time.

"France is becoming more and more popular among visitors from all the communities of UAE and by organising this event, the French embassy wishes to enable the visitors to enjoy, relax and learn while on a journey to France," remarked the ambassador.

He also added that the presence of Mr Gilles de Robien, the French minister for planning, housing, transportation, tourism and fisheries during the exhibition emphasises the significance France attaches to the relationship with the UAE, especially in the tourism sector.

He also announced his country's plan to open a regional tourist office for the Middle East to further strengthen the ties with UAE.
