France for cultural ties with Sharjah
SHARJAH — The French Association for Arts has evinced interest in developing cultural ties with the Sharjah Department of Culture and Information.
Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Director of the Department in Sharjah, received a delegation from the French association accompanied by officials from the French embassy in Abu Dhabi.
The delegation that toured the Sharjah art district was appraised of the department's activities in the field of heritage, arts, archaeology and culture. The delegates hailed the Sharjah Biennial for Art as an event which had attracted international attention.
