Fourteen Art Movies Slated
for European Fest in Capital

The movies will be screened at the Grand Cinema in Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi Mall) and Al Ain (Rotana, Oasis City).

For the first time this season, the programme will also be presented in Dubai, at the Mercato Mall’s Grand Cinema.

As in the past, the film festival enjoys the patronage of Shaikh Soroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, owner of Grand Cinemas.

The first movie of the season is ‘Absurdistan’, directed by Veit Helmer.

Participating in the European movies season are the embassies of Switzerland (which initiated the project eight years ago), France, Germany,

Spain, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, the Netherlands and Italy.
