The programme targets both the government and private school pupils, ages five to nine. The programme starts from 9am to 12pm.

Dr Badriya Ahmed Al-Dhahri, director of Community Services Division at the Municipality, said the programme’s aim was to develop children’s abilities, engage them with books and the world of knowledge, enrich their experience, enable them to collect and analyse information, and accustom them to utilising their leisure time in reading useful simplified stories so as to create a generation fond of reading.
