Forum on risk management
ABU DHABI — The role played by Arab hospitals in disasters and risk management will be broadly tabled during the upcoming eighth Arab Hospitals Association Forum scheduled to take place in Beirut, Lebanon tomorrow.
“The three-day meeting will discuss the experience of the UAE Ministry of Health (MoH) in adopting a risk management approach in the hospitals working under the MoH,” said Dr Saeed Abdullah bin Issac, Director of Quality and Development Department at the ministry who is heading the UAE delegation to the forum.
He told Khaleej Times yesterday that the UAE delegation would shed light on the policies and procedures, and the tools used to implement the approach.
“We will present our one-year experience in forming committees to evaluate risk management and training personnels on disaster,” said Dr Abdullah.
